Pack Mates with Chris de Aboitiz (PMCDA) Online Training Courses Terms of Use and Privacy Policy

 

By purchasing a PMCDA online training courses and by clicking on the “Accept” button you agree to the terms of this agreement which will bind you.  If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, you must cease to continue to purchase any Services from us.

 

Course Enrolment

 

  1. There are no course prerequisites for entry into PMCDA online course programs
  2. One (1) participant per enrolment
  3. Course enrolment details are not to be shared
  4. Course enrolments are not transferable to other students
  5. Course enrolment is complete when participant creates an account and payment is confirmed and have been issued their login details from the course management system
  6. Course commencement and duration is effective from the date course material is granted and accessed
  7. Special offer coupon codes cannot be added to an enrolment retrospectively and must be added at the time of checkout/enrolment
  8. Special introductory offers only last for the duration until the said expiry date given.
  9. Course fees are subject to change

 

Course Materials and Access – Intellectual Property

 

  1. Course Materials are supplied in an online environment unless otherwise specified in the course description and may not be downloaded.  
  2. Stated downloadable pdf files in course programs are not to be shared or distributed without the prior written consent from PMCDA
  3.  The content of the online Course Materials, including copyright and all other intellectual property rights contained therein, remain the property of PMCDA
  4. You may not reproduce any part of the online Course Materials without the prior written consent of PMCDA
  5. Course Materials, course content and assessments are subject to change
  6. Course duration/study hours are estimates only
  7. Twelve (12) months’ Course Materials access, with extensions available upon application in writing to PMCDA (fees apply)
  8. Course access may be suspended due to course inactivity
  9. Course Materials are provided via our PMCDA Thinkific learning platform 24/7 or via alternative means.  Course Materials comprise of online resources, videos, text, quizzes and assessments.  The PMCDA Thinkific learning platform may occasionally by unavailable during scheduled maintenance
  10. To study online with PMCDA you will need a computer (desktop pc/laptop) or mobile device running a current/updated operating system with reliable high speed internet access.  You can access the course via any updated web browser program without in-cognito, private browsing or VPN active.  You will also need basic computer skills on navigating and interacting with the course material.

 

Certificate of Completion

  1. On course completion you will be forwarded a PMCDA Certificate of Completion

 

Course Guarantee

 

  1. Course Material completion duration is estimated to take seven (7) days
  2. PMCDA guarantees you will have all the tools and information you need to change your dogs unwanted behaviour if you are consistent with your training practice and are communicating with your dog as taught in the course material.

 

Course Withdrawal and Refunds

 

Refunds will not be issued after course commencement except in exceptional circumstances

This decision of assessing the extenuating circumstances rests with the Owner of PMCDA and shall be assessed on a case-by-case basis

 

Credit/Gift Voucher / Coupon Code

 

All credit/gift vouchers/discount coupons have the following conditions of use:

  1. Not redeemable for cash
  2. Valid for one (1) use only
  3. Not valid with any other offer/gift voucher/coupon code
  4. The coupon code must be entered at the time of enrolment/course commencement; the discount cannot be applied at a later date
  5. Coupons/vouchers cannot be used to order printed materials or merchandise
  6. Vouchers/Codes can only be used in the time frame specified in the special offer

 

Confidentiality and Privacy Policy

 

We will make reasonable efforts to keep any such information that we have about you secure and to ensure that any of our employees or agents who have access to information about you do not make any unauthorized use, modification, reproduction or disclosure of that information.

 

We will only disclose information that we have about you:

  1. To the extent specifically require by law; or
  2. For the purposes of this agreement (including disclosing information in the connection with any query or claim)
  3. Information provided by you is considered confidential and will not be divulged to any third part, nor will it be sold

Upon enrolment into the course, we may use the content from your emails in our marketing materials and on our website testimonials page, as well as send you a periodic newsletter.   Your identity will never be revealed; however we will use your surname, initials and your city.  Please be assured that we respect your privacy and only comments related to course outcomes and student experiences will be mentioned.

 

Third-Party Authorisation – Individual Enrolments

 

Your PMCDA record is protected.  If you need someone else to obtain information or material on your behalf, you must provide your written authorization.  You will need to provide a signed written authority that includes your:

PMCDA Code of Practice

 

PMCDA has responsibilities to you as a student to provide you with quality of service that will assist you as much as possible in attaining your completion of the course.  We undertake to abide by all our policies and procedures.

 

PMCDA agrees to:

  1. Provide an invoice/receipt of payment
  2. Provide login details to access the online Course Material (or alternative access)
  3. Provide a Course Certificate on completion of course
  4. Provide support and feedback where applicable

 

Student Obligations

 

Students with PMCDA are required to:

  1. Ensure that all information provide to PMCDA is accurate
  2. Notify PMCDA of any contact changes (email, telephone, etc)
  3. Advise PMCDA of any difficulties or problems they may experience with PMCDA staff, procedures or training
  4. In your interactions with PMCDA staff (including but not limited to telephone calls, emails or instant chats) or with other course participates/students in the course discussion chat, you agree to conduct yourself civilly and respectfully at all times.  As a customer or student of PMCDA Online Courses, you agree that you shall not, under any circumstances, use abusive language or harass staff.  PMCDA Online Courses reserves the right to determine, at its sole discretion, what constitutes abusive language and harassment, and where that has occurred; and may, partially or completely, deny service to any infringing party.
